Kristyana Michelle
Kristyana Michelle is the heart and voice of the band, serving as both manager and lead singer since founding the group four years ago. Her journey in music began at just six years old, singing in church and discovering a passion that would shape her life. Though she doesn’t play instruments, Kristyana’s powerful vocals and stage presence more than make up for it. Influenced by artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, and Bruno Mars, she brings a dynamic and emotionally expressive style to every performance. Known for her outgoing personality, Kristyana thrives in the spotlight and has a natural ability to connect with audiences, making every show feel personal and unforgettable. What she values most about the band is the deep bond they share, more like family than just bandmates. With countless memorable moments under her belt, she finds it impossible to choose just one highlight, but every experience continues to fuel her love for performing. Before stepping fully into singing, Kristyana was a dancer and spent much of her life involved in musical theatre and acting, experiences that continue to influence her captivating stage presence today.
Jerry Jacinto
For the last three years, Jerry Jacinto has brought vocals, guitar, and a vibrant presence to the band. His journey started in garage bands back in high school, and his style today reflects that same spirited foundation: carefree, playful, and purposeful. With influences ranging from Cory Wong and Stevie Ray Vaughan to Frank Zappa and St. Vincent, Jerry is most inspired by the chemistry that comes from playing with fellow musicians. He counts performing in the intense heat at Pierogi Fest as one of his most memorable experiences with the band. And for anyone wondering, Toy Story is still his all-time favorite movie.
Brian Herbert
Brian Herbert is the band’s bass player and vocalist. He has been with the group since its inception in 2023. His musical foundations started early in childhood with piano lessons and grew through playing saxophone and bass drum in high school and community marching bands. Since his early teens, he continued to develop as a bass player in local bands throughout his high school and college experience. While his instrument of choice is bass guitar, he also has experience on rhythm guitar, piano, percussion, drums, and vocals. Brian brings a deliberate yet laid-back style that adapts and blends naturally across multiple genres. He draws his inspiration from Motown, Funk, R&B, Jazz, and Southern and Progressive rock. He most values the ease, professionalism, and style the other musicians in Good Vibez bring to the table. One of his favorite memories is playing the band’s first show and realizing the chemistry was going to be something special. One of his favorite quotes is, “Where words fail, music speaks.”
Luke Komyatte
Luke “Dukey” Komyatte is the band’s drummer and has been holding it down since 2023. He got his start playing drums for a youth group praise and worship band, and from there built a style shaped by the energy and individuality of bands like Underoath, Paramore, and Movements. Luke loves the unmatched chemistry within the band and the way everyone pushes each other to become better musicians while keeping the vibes strong. One of his favorite memories is the band’s very first show, which was also his first gig in more than ten years. With friends and family in the crowd and a stage full of talented musicians, it was a night he will not forget. Away from the kit, Luke describes himself as a tattooed, scrawny, bald dude who loves drums, his cats, and his badass wife. Fun fact: he once bowled a perfect sanctioned 300.
